  • Floor Grip is available in matte or gloss finishes.
  • Ideal for kitchens, living rooms, bathrooms or any place with wood or VCT floors. Even outdoors!
  • 3.8 Liters: 45-55 square meters

We present our exclusive roll-on anti-slip coating Floor Grip - a 100% water-based transparent and self-leveling urethane sealant that effectively prevents slip accidents when applied correctly. It is suitable for various types of flooring: natural hardwood, engineered hardwood, bamboo, vinyl, VCT, LVT, linoleum, laminate, cork, resin, and previously sealed floors.

Floor Grip is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. When applied with our proprietary additive and crosslinker (both included), it provides a robust, high-traction surface that is resistant to scratches and chemicals. This solution is particularly advantageous for preventing slips for both people and pets. Floor Grip has a drying time of 6-12 hours, making it versatile for indoor or outdoor applications. It is ideal for hospitals, hotels, or any facility that values slip resistance and a glossy finish. However, it is generally not recommended for use in dance studios, tap, or ballet due to its rough texture. You can choose between a glossy or matte finish to suit your preferences.

Safety Precautions:

When handling the product, it is essential to wear gloves at all times. Before applying, make sure you have removed any wax or polish from the surface. For better adhesion, consider lightly scratching the floor using a brown pad or 320-400 grit sandpaper. Before applying, thoroughly clean the surface and remove any dust from the floor and surrounding structures. Always protect nearby surfaces such as carpets, metal and others. Remember, new floors are only ready for coating after completing the procedures mentioned above.

Surface Preparation:

All substrates must be clean, dry and free of dust, dirt, oil, grease, soil, soap scum, wax, loose paint and other soluble contaminants. Do not use alcohol-based cleaners such as Pine-Sol and Fabuloso. Do not apply if rain is forecast within the next 24 hours, on humid days or when surface temperatures are below 40°F (4°C) or above 80°F (27°C).

APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS:
  • Step 1: TEST SAMPLE: Floor Grip should be tested on floor surfaces prior to full application. To prepare the test sample, pour a small amount of Floor Grip into a separate container with a small amount of additive, mix well, do not shake. Apply to a clean, unobtrusive area of the floor and allow to dry completely.
  • Step 2: Floor Grip can be applied in 2 or 3 coats. Each coat consists of Floor Grip + Crosslinker + Additive.
  • Step 3: Once ready for full application, determine the number of coats to be applied. Prepare a solution for each coat separately in a sturdy container. Add the appropriate amount of Crosslinker to the container, dividing between the containers for each coat. NOTE: Once Crosslinker is added to Floor Grip, the solution must be applied to the floor within 4-6 hours. CAUTION! MIX WELL BEFORE APPLYING!
  • Step 4: Add an appropriate amount of additive to the solution, depending on the number of coats, and mix well. A medium texture is recommended. Read the instructions on the additive bottle label.
  • Step 5: Using a 3/8" bristle roller, apply Floor Grip in even coats at a moderate speed to avoid foaming. For best performance, avoid thick coats, apply the second coat at a right angle to the first.
  • Step 6: Clean painting tools with soap and water.
Maintenance:

For general cleaning and maintenance, use a low pressure rinse. For best results in removing oil deposits or other foreign matter, apply a pH neutral detergent at the recommended dilution and scrub lightly with a soft bristle brush. Do not use alcohol-based cleaners, such as Pine-Sol or Fabuloso.
