The perfect base for a strong and safe surface

Tired of dealing with dusty or overly porous surfaces? SlipDoctors Water-Based Primer is the ideal solution for preparing floors before applying non-slip paints or coatings.

Designed to enhance adhesion on difficult surfaces, this clear primer seals in moisture and creates a strong bond between the substrate and the coating, ensuring a smooth, durable, and wear-resistant finish.

SlipDoctors Primer is a high-performance water-based primer formulated with advanced resins to provide excellent adhesion and high moisture resistance. Developed to improve bonding between the surface and water-based coatings, it is ideal for a wide range of materials including concrete, brick, asphalt, natural stone, wood, and metal.

For optimal results, SlipDoctors Primer should be used as a base layer before applying SlipDoctors Alpha Grip non-slip paint. This ensures a long-lasting, durable finish with maximum adhesion and superior performance.

Security Measures:
  • When handling Extra Fine Non-Slip Spray, it is crucial to give priority to safety measures. Apply in a well-ventilated area and strictly avoid any proximity to open flames to prevent potential hazards.
Surface Preparation:
  • Varies by surface. See chart below for specific surface preparation. ALWAYS: Test a small area for color compatibility and adhesion. For best results, spray between 68 and 90 degrees Fahrenheit. Applying SlipDoctors Non-Slip Spray below 50 degrees Fahrenheit will cause improper spraying and/or drying of the paint. Drying time decreases at higher temperatures and increases at lower temperatures.
Application Instructions:
  • Test: Extra Fine Clear Spray should be tested on a small, inconspicuous area before full application.
  • Mix: Mix the contents of the can thoroughly by shaking it until the ball jiggles inside the can. Once the ball jiggles, continue to shake vigorously for 2-3 minutes. When using, shake intermittently for 10 seconds to keep the product mixed.
  • Application: Spray 15-30 centimeters away from the surface using a zigzag motion as you apply. When applying, note that 2-3 light coats are recommended instead of 1 heavy coat.
  • If spray stops or is erratic, turn can upside down and spray for 2-3 seconds to clear nozzle. Clean tip, shake can and resume.
  • IMPORTANT: Before storing a partially used can, clean the valve immediately after use. To clean: Hold the can upside down and spray until only clear gas comes out (about 3 seconds), then wipe the tip and store. If the spray nozzle becomes clogged, remove it and clean with lacquer thinner.
  • Cleanup: If overspray occurs, the area can be cleaned with paint thinner.
Maintenance:
  • For best results, apply a pH neutral cleaner at the recommended dilution to remove oil deposits or other impurities and scrub lightly with a soft bristle brush. For general cleaning and maintenance, use a low pressure rinse.
